Established over 20 years ago, the department is a key hospital discipline supported by the National Emergency Medical Research Center. It is equipped with advanced devices, including the Zeiss K900 robotic surgical navigation microscope from Germany. The department has established a multidisciplinary center focusing on traumatic brain injury rescue, acute cerebrovascular diseases, functional neurosurgery, and oncology, and maintains collaborative relationships with several major hospitals in China.

As a key discipline of the Emergency General Hospital, it forms a Heart Center alongside the departments of cardiology and cardiovascular surgery. The center operates a 24/7 fast-track system for acute myocardial infarction. It maintains an advanced level in China for interventional treatments of coronary heart disease, radiofrequency ablation for arrhythmias, and critical care. Through a long-term, in-depth partnership with Beijing Anzhen Hospital, it achieves a high treatment success rate.

Occupational Medicine Department

National Pneumoconiosis Diagnosis and Treatment Center

The Department of Occupational Medicine at the Emergency General Hospital is a core department of the National Pneumoconiosis Diagnosis and Treatment Center, dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of occupational lung diseases and poisoning. The department maintains a leading position in China for massive whole-lung lavage and comprehensive treatment technologies for pneumoconiosis, and undertakes multiple national-level research projects on occupational disease prevention and treatment.
