Founded in 1993, the Department of Hematology and Oncology at Dongzhimen Hospital, Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, is a national key discipline integrating clinical care, education, and research. As an important component of the Ministry of Education's key discipline of Internal Medicine of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the department fully leverages the advantages of traditional Chinese medicine. It holds a leading position in China in the integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment of malignant tumors and hematological diseases, as well as in reversing multidrug resistance.
