Cirrhosis: VUM02 Umbilical-Cord MSC Injection
Published by Lexaid, the brand of Shanghai Qile Wuyou Technology Co., Ltd. (其乐无忧). Company & brand
This briefing explains what the technology is meant to do, who might be discussed for it, and what it does not replace. It is not medical advice and does not promise tumor shrinkage, functional recovery, or a cure. Eligibility, the receiving hospital, and the bill must be confirmed in writing by that hospital. Do not stop standard treatment unless the specialist agrees.

Cirrhosis is the structural result of repeated injury. Viruses, alcohol, fatty liver disease, and autoimmunity can all cause it. Consequences include low albumin, poor clotting, rising bilirubin, ascites, varices, an enlarged spleen, and encephalopathy. Established scar is rarely fully reversed by drugs. Cause control and complication care remain the base.

VUM02 is described as a mesenchymal stromal-cell preparation from a healthy donor umbilical cord. The stated mechanisms are immune modulation in the liver, less stellate-cell activation, protection of remaining hepatocytes, and a better microcirculation. It does not install a new liver. It is not the menstrual-blood MenSC product. The briefing places it among exploratory cell therapies in Lecheng and does not promise recovery of liver function, reversal of fibrosis, or longer survival.

- Cause, liver grade, ascites, clotting, imaging, and other illnesses are confirmed;
- Severe infection, cancer not yet excluded, uncontrolled bleeding, and multi-organ failure stay out;
- Cell therapy is discussed on top of liver-protective care, diuretics, antivirals, or nutrition;
- VUM02 is infused under the hospital protocol, with liver tests and complications rechecked;
- One infusion is not a reason to stop treatment of the cause.
